RightOnline/Defending the American Dream - Texas Summit

Where taxpayers' voices are amplified!
Here in Texas, the voices of taxpayers are being drowned out by taxpayer-funded lobbyists, liberal bloggers and special interest groups. The result: policies that are threatening to destroy the American Dream - higher taxes, government-run health care, out-of-control government spending, job-killing regulations, and endless red tape.

But on Friday and Saturday, July 18th and 19th, at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, you can do something about it! Join Michelle Malkin, Barry Goldwater, Jr., Former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele, syndicated columnist Robert Novak, Redstate.com's Erick Erickson, The Wall Street Journal's John Fund and Stephen Moore, Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Michael Williams and numerous Texas leaders, Americans for Prosperity Foundation president Tim Phillips, and Grover Norquist, with hundreds of citizen leaders from across Texas, at Americans for Prosperity Foundation's Defending the American Dream Summit.

Register now!
For those in need of transportation, we will be running busses from the following locations: West Texas (Midland-Odessa-San Angelo) South Texas (Brownsville-McAllen-Corpus Christi-San Antonio) North Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth- Waco) East Texas (Galveston-Houston-Columbus) Click here to reserve a bus space. Government taxes, spends, and regulates too much. We empower taxpayers to determine how much government they want and are willing to pay for.
Please join us to protect taxpayer interests and amplify our voice.

Williams’ Video Game Design Summer Camp Celebrates Inaugural Graduates

Chairman Michael Williams, Texas Railroad Commission, will present awards
"Williams Innovators" is a summer camp that promotes young people's interest in math and science through the teaching of designing computer games.

Sponsored by Friends of Michael Williams, Be The Game and The Institute of Urban Game Design, “Williams Innovators” learn how to design a video game with an energy exploration theme. There are 42 students participating in this inaugural summer camp. This innovative program started in Washington, D.C. and had fantastic results.

Campers had fun, played games, and in the process, learned about math, science and technology. Williams hopes this will spur an interest in young people to go to college and study engineering, science and mathematics.

More than half of Texas energy professionals are eligible to retire within the next ten years, many as early as five years. Texas needs a whole new generation of energy innovators. For more information, log on to http://www.BTheGame.com.

Chairman Williams will present certificates of graduation and awards to the top male and female students. Media availability will immediately follow.
