Governor Howard Dean, Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, today announced the nomination of Texas State Senator Leticia Van de Putte as a Co-Chair of the Democratic National Convention, to be held in Denver next summer.
She will be joined by Convention Chair and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and fellow Convention Co-Chairs Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, and Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin in leading Democrats as they nominate the Democratic Presidential candidate for the 2008 elections
