Thornwood Gallery, Diverse new paintings by Chrzanowski
Come out and join us at Thornwood Gallery for wine and live music on Saturday, May 1st from 6-8 p.m. for the opening reception of Diverse by Bob Chrzanowski. The artist will be in attendance for the event.
About the WorkThis exhibition of new work by Bob Chrzanowski is as diverse as ever. His figure oil studies that appear to be bronze drawings are a definite highlight for this show. Also, Chrzanowski’s new landscapes have gone coastal from the wild horses of Chincoteague Island Virginia to the California coast, with aspen and river reflections in between.
Lastly, his new large abstract oils give pause from his signature oil wash impressionism. Diverse will celebrate eight years of Chrzanowski’s exclusive representation at Thornwood Gallery. His unique style of painting has established him as one of the top selling artists in Thornwood’s almost ten years of operation.
About the ArtistChrzanowski was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and attended Mansfield University where he received his B.A. in Education. He later received his Masters of Fine Arts degree at Instituto Allende in San Miguel, Mexico. His artwork is in both private and corporate collections across the country. Bob’s work has always been recognized for its composition, imagery, and sensual textures.
Whether it’s his seductive figures, passionate florals, new age abstracts, or his signature landscapes Bob Chrzanowski consistently uses his self-invented textures and techniques throughout both his oil and acrylic washes on canvas.
His stunning portfolio attracts both the seasoned collector and the first time art buyer alike. For more information please visit our website at www.thornwoodgallery.com
