Diane Sanchez is the new SA Hispanic Chamber President & CEO
Sánchez was most recently a senior adviser for TriCap Partners, a New York-based independent merchant banking and asset management firm. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a native Texan. She was CEO for Telefonica USA and Global Crossing Latin America, president of Terremark, president of Global Operations for Mozido, a senior vice president at Alcatel-Lucent in the Caribbean and Latin America, and a regional sales director for Alestra Mexico.
Sánchez replaces Ramiro Cavazos, who was the Hispanic Chamber's president and CEO for 10 years before he left in September 2018 to become the
President and CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Rebecca Quintanilla Cedillo, a former San Antonio Hispanic Chamber chairwoman, has been interim CEO since Cavazos' departure.

“As chair of the CEO search committee, which has convened for the last three months, my focus was to find a candidate that would continue to lead the Hispanic Chamber with fortitude and vision. The search committee feels that Sánchez is that person, and we can’t wait to see where she will take us,” Immediate-Past Chairwoman Erika Prosper Nirenberg said in a news release. Cedillo's "leadership and grace has been paramount during this time," Prosper said.Sanchez will make her first public appearance for the Hispanic Chamber as president and CEO at its gala on Feb. 2 at the Grand Hyatt.
