Anna Weisz Rado,
an 84-year-old survivor of the Auschwitz Death Camp spoke about her holocaust
experiences to a Bible Class @ Northwest Church of Christ, June
10th, 2012.
Anna, her older sister, one brother and sister-in-law immigrated to the United States and eventually to San Antonio in 1957. She is the mother of two, the grandmother of five and one great grandchild.
She recounted her journey from Rajka Hungary as a 14-year-old to the 5-month ordeal in the concentration camp, back to Hungary under Communist rule and an additonal 6 months in a prison for trying to escape Communist rule in Hungary.
Editor's Note: I also had a cousin who survived a concentration camp as a 12-year-old who I met in Israel in 1972.
