Happy Valentine's Day from Councilman Justin Rodriguez

Recently I had the opportunity to sit down with Doyle Beneby, the new CEO at CPS Energy. During our discussion, Mr. Beneby said all the right things about changes in store for our municipally owned utility -- more transparency in day-to-day operations; a commitment to renewable energy investments; accountability to the City Council and, more importantly, to you the ratepayers.
I'm pleased to report that after only six months on the job, Mr. Beneby's pledge is, thus far, ringing true. And while an organization's culture cannot be transformed overnight, Mr. Beneby has CPS headed in the right direction. For more on the utility's current headlines, including a recent solar initiative please visit http://www.cpsenergy.com/.
