Roman Sculpture in the 21st Century: New Perspectives on Ancient Images Saturday, April 12th, 9 am to 4:15 p.m. Auditorium. Free.

In celebration of the reopening of SAMA’s Greek and Roman galleries, the museum will host a symposium on Roman sculpture. The speakers will address a variety of topics related to the creation of Roman statues and their display and reception in antiquity and beyond.
