The Coalition between Travis Elementary, Horace Mann Academy, & Carroll Academy join forces as they picket the restaurant El Mirador. El Mirador is owned by Julian Trevino, the SAISD Board President. Incidentally, it is also where Carlos Villarreal, another board member, works.
We will expose the unfair and deceptive actions of the SAISD Board & their decision to close 6 schools. We demand to have input in our school, in the decisions that affect our communities, and in our children’s education.

Downtown between Durango and S. Alamo Streets.
