Northwest Church of Christ participates in Magi Project

Like many churches in Bexar County, Northwest Church of Christ participates in a version of the annual Magi Project.

The nationwide Magi Project encourages church members of all denominations to bring shoe boxes wrapped with gifts for children in the Third World to their church to be transported to a distribution center that in turn sends them overseas.

Northwest Church of Christ transports shoes boxes specifically designated to the colonias on both sides of the Texas border, rather than Third World countries.

During a special service, Sunday, October 28th, the youth of the congregation deliver the boxes to the stage before services begin.
