SA Express-News endorses nine City Council candidates

Endorsements include: District 1-Diego Bernal, (photo) District 2-Ivy Taylor, (I) District 4-Leticia Cantu, District 5-David Medina, (I) Distirct 6-Ray Lopez, (I) District 7- Elena Guajardo, District 8-Reed Williams, (I) District 9-Elisa Chan, (I) & District 10 Carlton Soules

The San Antonio Express-News endorsed 9 City Council candidates and Mayor Julian Castro for the City Council Election which begins early voting tomorrow, May 1st. There was no endorsement in the District 3 Council race.

A candidate can promote their campaign, but we don't post comments derogatory of their opponent. Also we don't post photos with people with eyes closed, open mouth unless they hold a microphone, or it is in context. We don't promote alcohol or cigarettes or unflattering photos. We are a family blog and adhere to those expectations.
