COMMUNITY LEADERS BACK DISTRICT 5 CANDIDATE SHIRLEY GONZALES

 Westside attorney and former District 5 candidate Ricardo Briones will host a
 press conference at the home of Shirley Gonzales this Saturday, May 25^th at
10 a.m.

 Ricardo will be joined by former District 5 Councilman Walter Martinez and Juan Solis along with former councilwoman Patti Radle as they all
l formally endorse Shirley’s city council campaign.
 
The stakes have risen for the city council seat of San Antonio’s most economically disadvantaged area. Shirley Gonzales has emerged as the anti-incumbent leader to unseat current councilman David Medina. Cruising to a steady second place finish, Shirley is quickly garnering the support of community leaders and democratic powerhouses State Representative Mike Villareal and State Senator Leticia Van de Putte.

Shirley stated, “I am humbled by the support of my former opponent Ricardo;

having the support of such respected community leaders has given me

reassurance that I can bring effective leadership to my district”.
