Organizers of Cesar Chavez March meet at Tito's

The Committee organizing the 11th Annual Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice to be held Saturday, March 31st, met at Tito's Restaurant Saturday, January 6th for its first organizational meeting.

According to Jaime Martinez, chairperson, the March will assemble at Plaza Avenida Guadalupe at 11 a.m. on the 31st and begin marching at 1 p.m. to the Alamo.

Rita Chavez, the older sister of Cesar Chavez, will serve as the Grand Marshal, Claudia Sanchez will serve as the Youth Student Grand Marshal and Entertainer Johnny Canales will be the Guest of Honor.
