The UTSA Mexican American Studies program is a nationally recognized program that prepares students to enter professional and graduate schools. UTSA MAS graduates are employed as teachers in pre-kindergarten through 12^th grade public school classrooms across San Antonio, and hold leadership positions in private and public service sectors, including early childhood education agencies, historical preservation commissions, and non-profit organizations.
