That is what the board, our members, and I are feeling after taking a moment and reflecting on what we accomplished this weekend. $40,000 in scholarships is no small feat and it’s at the core of what we do and will continue to do. 

Sponsors, every year we ask, and every year you all continue to step up in a big fashion that is, well, Puro San Antonio. Thank you again.

SAAHJ is a unique group in that all who participate could be doing something else but opt to lend a hand in seeing the mission through. It’s a daunting, but worthy honor to lead this stellar group of all-volunteer professionals and students.

Without giving away too much, we have some things in the works that will offer more insight to students pursuing careers in media, perspective on diverse voices in public policy, and some old fashioned networking mixed with merriment.
