Candidate Enrique Valdivia for San Antonio City Council District 7

Enrique is a 20-year resident of the Monticello Park neighborhood. He has 30 years experience as a practicing attorney with Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid, Inc. (TRLA), where he focuses on environmental law. Enrique has served on several San Antonio area non-profit boards including Fuerza Unida, Jump Start Performance Company and the Neighborhood Resource Center. 

He currently serves on the boards of Aquifer Guardians in Urban Areas (AGUA), the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance, Austin-based Texas Fund for Economic & Environmental Education and Pittsburgh-based Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services.

For the past 8 years Enrique has been an elected member of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors, representing District 7, which covers a northwest-central portion of Bexar County.

Enrique is running now to be a voice for the neighborhoods of District 7, and a principled leader for all of San Antonio
