Soc. Sec. celebrates birthday, balloons for Sen. Cornyn, 8-14

It is Social Security's birthday (August 14th) and Shannon Perez from SEIU and her Union members are going to deliver balloons to Senator John Cornyn together with a tax bill to corporations asking them to pay their fair share so that Social Security and other programs can remain solvent. The overarching message is cuts by Congress are hurting vital services. Social Security is at risk. This hurts seniors. Head Start, WIC and immunizations are being cut. This is hurting our kids.
