Well, it is that time again. For
those of you that have helped support the 100 Club Spaghetti dinner in the past
thank you. For those of you that this the first time getting the e-mail, thank
you in advance for your support. The 100 Club is a non-profit
organization that benefits fallen Firefighters and Police
Officer families. www.100clubsa.org
Last year through corporate
sponsorships and ticket sales we were able to raise over $45,000.
We also served about 4,000 plates of spaghetti and homemade meatballs. This
money was divided up between the children of Firefighters and Police Officers killed in the line of duty
and added to their individual trusts that the 100 Club of San Antonio
established for each of them.
Saturday July 13th (note the added day) and Sunday July 14th starting at 11
a.m. with continued service until 6
p.m. (don't wait until 6 because it will be all gone) we will be serving a
heaping plate of spaghetti with meatballs, bread, and a salad for only $7.50 per
plate. You can either dine in and enjoy the atmosphere or you can bring a
container and get the spaghetti to go. If you don't know the meatballs are all
made from scratch and are rolled by hand the Friday before. (we can always use
more helpers) The sauce is also made from scratch which makes this the best
plate of spaghetti and meatballs you will ever
have.
The event takes place at Columbus
Hall located at 100 Piazza Italia. Please visit the 100
Club of San Antonio
website www.100clubsa.org.
I can be contacted
back at this e-mail address or on my cell at 326-9686 for pre-sale
tickets.
