State Representative Jose Menendez
Representative Menendez says Torres is the most
qualified candidate to win in November
Texas State Representative Jose Menendez has endorsed Tina Torres as the best choice to represent State House District 117.
“I am elated to have the endorsement of such a key member
of the Texas Legislature. Representative Menendez has worked tirelessly for his
constituents, our city, and our state. Working together with key legislators is
the best way to ensure that our constituents will have a better tomorrow. Now
is the time to step up, and I am thankful that Representative Menendez is
standing with me,” said Torres.
“The Texas House of Representatives needs a fighter like
Tina Torres who will stand up and fight for our children, veterans, and
hardworking families. House District 117 needs a State Representative who will
be clear on the issues and will work on behalf of their
constituency,” said Representative Menendez.
“Tina has worked hard for over 16 years to represent
families, seniors, and children – many of whom live
in HD 117. Tina’s experience gives her a unique set of skills that will
be vital for the upcoming legislative session. I am pleased to endorse Tina
Torres as the only Democrat in the race that can win back HD 117 in the general
