Over a thousand participants showed up to walk for NAMI, 10-8

Over a thousand participants thronged to Brackenridge Park to participate in a 5K Walk for the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) Saturday, October 8th.

Featured speakers included SA Police Chief Bill McManus, Bexar County Sheriff Amadeo Ortiz, Morgan's Wonderland Founder Gordon Hartman, April Ancira, NAMI Executive Director Kym Bolado & Grand Marshall & Congressional candidate State Rep. Joaquin Castro.
