Dear friends and family,
As most of you know, I've been working on a new website, http://www.plazadearmastx.com/ , which launched earlier this week. Plaza de Armas is an online publication for San Antonio; we'll cover politics, business, and culture every week with a tight focus on San Antonio and South Texas. (including, yes, our always surprising Lege) And as a good friend of mine likes to say, we will slay dragons. We'll also help you get to know your city better: the power brokers, the elected officials, the artists, the entrepreneurs.
Some media coverage of our launch:

News of our launch was also picked up by the infamous J-blog Romanesko, Media Bistro, and blogs farther afield.
Please subscribe today, and support fearless local independent journalism (plus: smart arts coverage). I will be eternally grateful.
