Hispanic Chamber helps launch inaugural Cocina de las Americas

Chef Johnny Hernandez of True Flavors Catering and Dya Campos from H-E-B will be hosting an Iron Chef style Paella Cook-Off, in partnership with the New World Wine & Food Festival, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and The Culinary Institute of America- San Antonio campus. National and local chefs will compete to see who will be crowned El Rey de la Paella!

The inaugural Cocina de las Americas, a one-day community event will commemorate the quintessential dish from Spain- Paella Valenciana. Proceeds from the event will benefit students at the Culinary Institute of America- San Antonio campus. Tickets are $40 pre-sale and $50 at the gate and are all inclusive of food and beverage.
