Hispanic Chamber celebrates Mayor Castro’s First 100 days in office

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) will celebrate Mayor Castro’s first 100 days as the mayor of the seventh largest city in the United States with a reception at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the IBC Bank located at 130 E. Travis.

“It’s important to take a look at the accomplishments that our new Mayor has been focused on during his first few months as Mayor, as well as learn about the initiatives that he plans to undertake going forward,” said Ramiro A. Cavazos, President & CEO of the SAHCC.

Toyota’s decision to move Tacoma production to the Toyota Texas Motor Manufacturing plant to San Antonio is an excellent example of what Mayor Castro and our business community have done in just a few months, through coordinated efforts with key city leaders involved in economic development.

The Hispanic Chamber is celebrating the Mayor’s first 100 days in office with this reception, and also the Mayor’s upcoming birthday on the 16th of September. To RSVP for the event, call the Hispanic Chamber at 210-225-0462, or by email at rsvp@sahcc.org.
