Bihl Haus presents James Hetherington artwork, 4-17

L-R: Bihl Haus artwork

Sculpture! Sculpture! Sculpture! James Hetherington's contemporary sculpture is everywhere at Bihl Haus Arts! It's on the walls, it's on the floor. It's inside the gallery and out. Large free-standing pieces, hand-held pieces, paintings of sculpture, drawings, plans, maquettes, and more. The opening reception for Conception/Realization is on Friday, April 17th, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

And then, on Saturday, April 18th, there's lots and lots and lots of poetry at Bihl Haus Arts--an all day event, with readings on the hour from 11 am to 5 pm, in conjunction with the Monticello Park Historic District Home Tour (Bihl Haus is on the tour this year).

Poets Ignacio Magaloni, Robert Bonazzi, Jesse Cardona, Cathrine Lee, & Pablo Martinez will be reading. The poetry reading at Bihl Haus is free and open to everyone, or it can be combined with the home tour (tickets $15, available at 702 Donaldson the day of the tour, or call 736-0130)

The stunning sculptures of James Hetherington combine with exquisite poetry--under the trees if the weather allows—to produce a potent and enchanting mix.
