Dr. Molly Swetnam-Burland, Assistant Professor of Classical Studies at the College of William and Mary, will speak about the Roman interest in Egyptian culture and art, looking particularly at the Romans' taste for Egyptian fads and fashions in the decades following their conquest of Egypt . This lecture is presented as part of the Louis A. and Frances B. Wagner Lecture Series.
