Show Support for Family Safety in San Antonio Area

Congressman Ciro D. Rodriguez (photo) will attend events for the the "25th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime / drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. (NATW)

National Night Out has been a successful annual event in San Antonio and across the country. Last year's National Night Out campaign involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 10,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. In all, over 35 million people participated in National Night Out 2007.

“I have worked hard to keep our children and families safe whether it be internet safety or safety from drugs and criminals, this event helps to ensure that we are looking out for the safety of our neighbors and our families,” said Rodriguez.

6:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Jade Oaks Subdivision off of Prue Road

6:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. : Parkwood off of Prue Road
