TURF to testify before State Affairs Committee on TxDOT’s illegal ad campaign

The purpose of the hearing is for the House State Affairs Committee to:
Study the issue of using state funds to advertise government programs and
services to discern if taxpayer dollars are being spent appropriately, and
to consider legislation that will ensure that these dollars are not spent
to coerce, but rather to benefit, the public through honest educative
efforts.
TURF on behalf of Texas taxpayers
Presentation revealing evidence from TURF lawsuit that demonstrates the purpose of TxDOT’s ad campaign is political/coercive - to win public approval for tolling and the Trans Texas Corridor and is NOT a legal, legitimate public information/education campaign
Friday, July 18th @ 10 a.m.@ Texas State Capitol, Room E1.010, Capitol Extension, 1400 Congress Avenue, Austin, TX.
