Texas Democrats converge on Austin for State Convention

Thousands of Texas Democrats from across the state converged on Austin, Thursday, June 5th, for the Texas Democratic State Convention to select national delegates to the National Democratic Convention in Denver in August.

Bloggers, delegates, alternate delegates and guests filled meeting rooms, participated in caucuses, attended various receptions for statewide candidates, and visited with fellow Democrats in the first day of the three day confab.
