Wilson-Merritt's topic: "Graffiti is Everyone's Problem: A New Approach to Graffiti Education." There was also a reading of "Graffiti in Tahiti" by Special Assistant to Mayor Phil Hardberger, Dawn Larrios. Wilson-Merritt autographed the book at the end of the workshop.
Experts on graffiti, authors of graffiti prevention books, graffiti web sites generally agree that graffiti is not art, and that prompt removal is very important. Otherwise, the graffiti draws even more graffiti writing.
