Bill Sinkin to celebrate his 95th Birthday, Monday, May 19th

Please join Mayor Phil Hardberger, Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff and Former Governor Dolph Briscoe to celebrate legendary San Antonio civic leader, Bill Sinkin for his 95th birthday!

Bill Sinkin (photo) has been at the forefront of issues in San Antonio since, well, forever!

With gentle determination, he helped desegregate the community, bring Hemisfair to San Antonio, protect the Edwards Aquifer, and identify solar as a major source of clean energy for Texas. Under Solar San Antonio, he has worked tirelessly to build awareness about renewable energy, and specifically about the economic and environmental benefits of solar energy.

He has been driving the conversation about solar energy since the 1980s and most recently helped the City of San Antonio get the designation of a Solar America City from the United States Department of Energy. That means a significant opening for economic development, better jobs, cleaner air, and an exciting adventure into the growth of Texas and San Antonio. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to honor his life's work.

Join AT&T, Hugo Gutierrez and the many statesmen and women, business and civic leaders who will be honoring Bill Sinkin, Monday, May 19th, Pearl Stable, 312 Pearl Parkway, Bldg. #2, Reception @ 11:30 a.m., Lunch @ noon.
