Warrior and Family Support Center Program Coordinator Judith Markelz addressed a full house crowd @ the Northeast Bexar County Democrats @ their monthly meeting @ Luby's Cafeteria off New Braunfels, Saturday, April 4th.

According to Markeltz, the Warrior and Family Support Center is staffed by Army Community Service and caring volunteers throughout the Fort. Sam Houston miltary community.

Markeltz said the mission of the Center is to serve patients, next of kin and family members of Opeation Iraqi Freedom & Operation Enduring Freedom.

Markelz also pointed out that the Center needed DVD Players, phone cards, gift cards, disposable cameras, baked goods, candy, individually wrapped snacks, pens, pencils, music, DVD's, popcorn, diapers and personal hygiene products.
