Democratic Senatorial Districts literally draw thousands

The four Democratic Senatorial Districts drew literally thousands of participants who stood in line for hours to register as delegates, Saturday, March 29th.

The conventions turned into virtual marathons as long lined formed at each location. At the 26th Senatorial District held at Alamo Stadium Gym next to Trinity University reports of nearly 2-thousand precinct convention delegates flocked to the gym. Some participants parked nearly half a mile from the site.

The last delegate registered at 4 p.m. Doors opened at 8:30 a.m.
