The March 4th Texas Primary is quickly approaching and early voting has already begun. For many of us, this is the first time we've seen our state in play in the national political arena. To illustrate the importance of this primary- both Democratic Presidential Candidates have visited San Antonio within the last eight days. Senator Clinton spoke at St. Mary's University last Wednesday and Senator Obama spoke at Guadalupe Plaza this afternoon. There's even a fair chance that they might return before Election Day.
This is proof that your vote is very important, so please urge your family and friends to vote and vote early. The main advantage to voting early is that you can vote at any early voting site within Bexar County. You can find information on early voting below or by visiting the Bexar County Elections website.
We have seen an incredible rise in the participation of young voters across the country. Don't let Texas be an exception to that pattern. Continue to check our calendar- we'll keep it updated as new events are announced. Stay tuned.
