We are seeing the field narrow as we come closer to the March 4th Texas primary election. While the candidates are looking at Super Tuesday next week, we have a unique opportunity to tell our Republican Presidential candidates what we think!

News outlets on television, radio, and online will be full of interviews and statements from Huckabee, McCain, Paul, and Romney. I'm glad to tell you that you don't have to wait until they visit Texas to share your opinions.

We are pleased to share with you today our next set of questions related to social issues, which are of vital concern to our Party activists.

Remember that the results of these surveys will be provided directly to each presidential candidate. We want your voice to be heard right now even as the candidates are in other states.
I hope that I can count on you to complete our Presidential Issues Survey by visiting

We are hearing what the candidates have to say in their debates, TV appearances, websites, and other forums. However, are they hearing what we have to say to them? Our Presidential Issues Survey will make it clear which issues are important to Texas Republicans and exactly what we expect them to do.

As the campaign has moved into Super Tuesday with states across the country voting, this campaign is still going strong. Texas has 140 delegates to the Republican National Convention. So Texas Republicans will have a major say in who the nominee of our Party will be! Let’s use that influence for our conservative principles.

Don’t wait until the March 2008 primary to speak out on your issues, take our survey by clicking www.texasgop.org/survey4

For this week's series of issues, we are looking at social issues. Few areas of policy provide such a clear distinction between the Republican and Democratic parties. The right to life, traditional marriage, and even international genocide are key factors as our voters head to the polls this year.

Take part in our survey today to find out, just click here www.texasgop.org/survey4

Remember, once the results are collected for our series of surveys, we’ll be forwarding the results to our participants and also directly to the presidential campaigns. Don’t miss your chance to participate.

Thank you for being part of this important project for Texas Republicans. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
Tina Benkiser
Chairman
Republican Party of Texas

P.S. It is vitally important that we receive a response from a wide range of Texas Republican voters. That’s why I’m asking you not only to complete our online survey, but we are also encouraging you to share this survey with your friends and family after you’re done.

  1. To all who have read this blog: Do you know that Alan Keyes is on the Ballot in Texas? Please go to AlanKeyes.com for more information and his schedule across the Lone Star State. I encourage everyone to get on the conference call tonight at 10:00 pm CST. The phone # and Access Code are as follows: 231-962-8000, Access Code 340794#. Please be informed that we have an alternative Republican candidate running and he is a true conservative. His name is Alan Keyes. Although the media is doing everything in its power to block Alan from the public eye, that does not mean that we have to accept it. For example: The Miami Herald conveniently printed that Alan Keyes had dropped out of the race on Tuesday, right before the elections. His votes were not counted in Iowa. They have removed him from the Ballot in parts of New York. Are we going to stand for this?????? Please go to AlanKeyes.com and be informed. God bless you all.
