Numerous Veterans from around the City came out to clean up an area that is now a defunct railroad on the corner of Walters and Carson next to the Drop Zone when the City failed to send maintenance men out to the site. Citing safety reasons for the push to clean up the area, George "Marty" Martinez pointed out that the City is "basically ignoring the problem." Calls to the District 2 Council Office went unanswered.
