Diane Cibrian hosts back to school back packs

District 8 Councilwoman Diane Cibrian hosted a back to school event at St. Francis Epistcopal Church, Sunday, August 19th.

Over two hundred backpacks were distributed to kids ready to return to the classroom next week for the 2007-2008 school year. KIds and parent sere treated to hot dogs, drinks and popcorn during the three hour event.

According to Cibrian, "there will be more backpacks distributed soon to include khaki's that are part of a number of schools dress code."
