Workers for the two candidates at the polls in District 8 spent most of their day talking to each other or Telemundo-60, as voter turnout was sporadic at best. At Hunter's Creek, Diane Cibrian & Dr. Morris Stribling waved to would-be voters as they dribbled into the polls to decide who would be the next District 8 City Councilperson.
By 2 p.m. only 125 voters had cast their ballot at Hunter's Creek, considered one of the stronger voting places in the District. Voting ends at 7 p.m. (posted @ 3:30 p.m.)
