Harlandale dedicates Verna Adams Elementary

The Harlandale ISD held a dedication of the new Verna Adams Elementary School right next to the old campus at the corner of Pleasanton & Southcross, Monday, May 14th.

School Board members, the Superintendent and District administrators, parents, students and community members gathered in the cafeteria to listen to speeches, Adams Elementary choir, and the son of Verna Adams who thanked the District for continuing to honor his mother. Jim Adams said, "my mother was not a politican, but someone who believed strongly in educating kids."
