Former Mexican President Vicente Fox served as the keynote speaker at the the Hispanic Media Awards, held at the Marriott River Center, Thursday, May 24th in the Grand Ballroom. The event honored the nation's top Spanish language journalists & media personalities.

The 2007 Ring of Honor inductee is Emilio Nicolas Sr., the initiator of the Telethon Navideno and first president of KWEX-41.

The 2007 Journalist & Community Award winner is Odilon Arambula.
