Here's why I, Patti Radle, support and ask you to vote for her on May 12th:
Lourdes Galvan

I have known Lourdes for over 30 years. Anything she has been involved with has always been to improve the community, to work for civil rights, and to improve the quality of life for families, especially for students.

As a former Kelly Worker, she was very involved their union activity. She was the co-founder of the Lanier Booster Club. She was recently the director for LULAC, District 15. She worked for years for the re-development of the Vista Verde neighborhood.

Lourdes has proven her passion, her genuine love, for District 5 over and over again and worked in my office for over three years and directed the activities of the field office, responding to hundreds of calls and visits to and from constituents.

She was in charge of coordinating projects with Code Compliance and worked to improve the impact of Code Compliance in District 5.

She coordinated efforts on the first and second District 5 Business Summit, organized the back-to-school backpack give away for District 5, and managed to involve many organizations in the effort, and she helped to organize the annual Holiday Luncheon for our senior citizens at La Villita.

She met monthly with the Public Works Department and the District 5 team to review street and sidewalk projects throughout the District. She represented me on the Citizens Action Advisory Board, a federal board to deal with the direction of funds and policy to help people who suffer the challenges of poverty.
