Presidential candidate New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson came to San Antonio and visited with supporters at the Plaza Club, Monday, March 19th.

After meeting with local media he spoke to a full house of supporters who cheered his announcement that he will seek the Presidency of the United States.

Referring to himself as a second tier candidate at the moment, he reminded the crowd the primary was nearly 11 months away. He pointed out it was too early to determine who would win the nomination.

He joked with the crowd and shared a recent conversation with his 92-year-old mother. Richardson said when he informed his mother he was running for President, she asked him, "President of what?"

Throughout his speech he thanked the crowd for their support and talked about his vision for America.
