The installation of the controversial Red Light Cameras in Balcones Heights is complete. According to Justin McDole who oversees the process, "although the cameras are functional, a 30-day grace period will be in place to allow time for an educational awareness program to educate the public and warn them that running a red light will cost them a $148 fine."

Red Light Cameras are installed at Hillcrest & Babcock, Fredericksburg Road & Hillcrest, Fredericksburg Road & Crossroads Boulevard & Fredericksburg Road & Balcones Heights Boulevard.
