AFL-CIO retirees host Herrera, Littlefield, Vela

The monthly meeting of the AFL-CIO Retirees hosted guest speaker Bexar County Democratic Party Chair Carla Vela, former labor lawyer Frank Herrera, & Rev. C.J. Littlefield, Thursday, February 22nd at the Poster Workers Union Hall on S. Presa.

Herrera invited the members to attend a Senator John Edwards for President rally at Sunset Station, March 7th. The rally will begin at 5:30 p.m. and Senator Edwards is expected to speak after 6 p.m.

Vela encouraged members to become precinct chairs for the Bexar County Democratic Party while speaker C.J. Littlefield offered a motivational speech.
