Martin Luther King March coming Jan. 15th

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, March will be held, Monday, January 15th. The March will officially begin at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Academy at 10 a.m. An estimated 100-thousand marchers will walk the three mile march from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Academy to Pittman-Sullivan Park, located on N. New Braunfels Ave. The March Marshalls met Saturday, January 13th to go over details of the March.

KENS-5 will televise the two hour March from beginning to end. The weather is predicted to be cold and rainy. The Marshalls will direct the traffic and ensure safety through out the March.
