Retired Sheriff's Deputy Amadeo Ortiz celebrated his Birthday at the Barbed Wire Grill on North St. Mary's, Friday, October 27th and unofficially announced he would run for Bexar County Sheriff in 2008. Ortiz will officially announce his run after the November election.
Ortiz introduced Balcones Heights Councilman Steve Walker to say a few words to the crowd.
