Express-News endorses Nellermoe, Noll, Saldana
Top Row: Judge Barbara Hanson Nellermoe, judicial candidate Larry Noll
2nd Row: judicial candidate Gloria Saldana
The Express-News has endorsed the re-election of 45th District Court Judge Barbara Hanson Nellermoe, candidates Larry Noll for the 408th District Court and Gloria Saldana for the 224th
District Court.
The recommendations read:
In the 45th District Court race we recommend the re-election of Judge Barbara Hanson Nellermoe, a Democrat to a second term. Nellermoe is a hardworking judge with more than 23 years of legal experience. Prior to her election to the bench, she served as a 4th Court of Appeals staff attorney, which has provided Nellermoe with a good insight into handling a trial court.
We recommend Larry Noll, a Democrat for the 408th District Court. With 33 years experience, he is the far better candidate in this race. Noll has a family law certification and is well-resepected in that field. An adjunct professor in family law at St. Mary's University, Noll helped write the San Antonio Bar's family law manual and compiled a manual for those who want to represent themselves in court.
We recommend Gloria Saldana, a Democrat for the 224th District Court seat. Saldana has 15 years of legal experience and is a certified mediator. A self-described street lawyer," Saldana has spent the bulk of her career practicing family law in Bexar County.
