Since mid June, BCDPNews has been in business posting articles, commentaries, and hundreds of photos of upcoming events and follow up stories on those events to keep Democrats & Republicans alike current on Democratic happenings.

The first posting was on the Stonewall Democrats as well as the 200th posting on the BCDPNews.

BCDPNews has covered Gubernatorial candidate Chris Bell extensively, Senatorial candidate Barbara Radnofsky often, Congressman Charlie Gonzalez, Attorney General candidate David Van Os, Lt. Governor candidate Maria Alvarado,(limited) 4th Court of Appeals candidates Dan Pozza & Eddie De La Garza continually & Lauro Bustamante.

Also covered in BCDPNews, Congressional candidates (Dist. 23) Albert Uresti, Ciro Rodriguez, Lukin Gilliland, Rick Bolanos til his exit from the race, and most recently Adrian DeLeon and Augie Beltran.

In the Congressional District 21 race, BCDPNews covered John Courage continually and Gene Kelly once. In the 28th Congressional race BCDPNews covered Henry Cuellar once and recently Frank Enriquez his opponent.

In the State Senatorial races BCDPNews didn't cover Carlos Uresti and Kathi Thomas enough. The same holds true for the State Rep. races of David Leibowitz, Robert Puente, Trey Fischer, & Mike Villarreal.

BCDPNews did, however, do well by State Reps. Joaquin Castro, Ruth Jones McClendon & State Rep. candidates Joe Farias & Larry Stallings.

The most coverage of BCDPNews has been focused on the County and District Judges and candidates.

Judges Barbara Nellermoe, Al Alonzo, Paul Canales, David Rodriguez, Catherine Stone & Monica Guerrero have been covered extensively as well as candidates Ina Castillo, Catherine Torres-Stahl, Ray Olivarri, Carleton Spears, Gloria Saldana, Peter Sakai, Milton Fagin, Larry Noll, & Barbie Scharf-Zeldes.

Don't forget the good coverage of District Clerk Margaret Montemayor, & Commissioner Tommy Adkisson, but unfortunately limited exposure of DA candidate Eddie Bravanec and County Clerk candidate Tim Ybarra.

The Democratic organizations received notice as well to include: Northwest, Northeast, Stonewall, Tejano, New Era Democrats, Bexar County Democratic Women & Bexar County Democratic Party Chair Carla Vela & the four Deputy Chairs; Rick Puente, Jose Garcia, Diane Stallings & Vincent Garcia.

Other good Democrats highlighted include: SA First Ladies Tracy Wolff, Linda Hardberger,SA Council Woman Elena Guajardo, LULAC National President Rosa Rosales & former Bexar County Democratic Chair Gabe Quintanilla to mention a few.

All in all, it has been a good ride and we are far from done. By election day I predict we will post another 50 to 100 postings on BCDPNews. While some candidates by and large received more press than others, much of it is due to the candidates or their staff, who ensured they sent something in to be posted and promoted.

I can only post what I have been emailed or informed about. If you send it, I will post it. I will most likely edit it as well.

Having said that, keep the information coming in and I will attempt to attend all your functions, take numerous photos and post them on the BCDPNews.

Posting 300
