American Family Association attacks H.E.B. again

Donald Wildmon, chairman of the American Family Association is at it again by attacking H.E.B. for contributing five hundred dollars to the recent Gay PrideFest celebration held June 17th at HemisFair Plaza and the Gay Pride Parade, held July 2nd in the downtown area.

Numerous local Democratic activists and elected officials attended the events in support of the Stonewall Democrats who participated. State Senator Leticia van de Putte served as Grand Marshal of the Gay Pride Parade.

Wildmon says, "please let Charles Butt of H.E.B. Supermarket know that you diagree with his decision to forsake his Christian roots and financially promote the homosexual agenda."

Wildmon is calling for a national boycott of all H.E.B. stores for finacially contributing to the annual event.

Local Christian radio talk show host, Adam McManus recently led three seperate protests at three local H.E.B. stores.

McManus encouraged his listeners to email the H.E.B. Corporate Headquarters and complain. The Equality Website countered by sending out an alert which netted 2,800 emails to H.E.B. thanking them for their support.
