Bexar County Young Democrats Mayoral and City Council 2011 Endorsement Meeting

The Bexar County Young Democrats will be holding their endorsement meeting for the 2011 Mayoral and City Council election cycle taking place on Wednesday, March 2nd (6:30 p.m.) at Barbaresco. (9715 San Pedro)

The candidates seeking endorsement of BCYD prepared a questionnaire sent out by BCYD’s Endorsement Committee, chaired by member Chris Garcia. At this meeting the candidates will have the opportunity to address the members and answer questions to gain BCYD’s support.

Bexar County Young Democrats mission is to reach out to youth and empower them to be life-long, active members of the Democratic Party. Our members work with all levels of the Democratic Party from grassroots activism to political strategy, fundraising, voter registration, and community service. More importantly, we raise awareness on issues that are important to us and inspire legislative and political progress.

The Texas Pageant is March 13th @ the Lila Cockrell Theatre in San Antonio. Since the pageant is less than two weeks away, my Sponsor Flamingo Entertainment Center is wanting to have a fundraiser for me on Saturday, March 5th @ 5132 SW Military Drive in San Antonio at 7 p.m.

I really need your help to make this fundraiser a success. I'm asking that you have your family & friends come out and support me by attending my fundraiser. Admission is $7.
