Scores of mourners, elected officials and dignitaries converged on Our Lady of Guadalupe in Helotes to pay final wishes to Former State Senator Frank Madla who tragically died in a house fire, Thanksgiving Day.
His friend, Greg Garcia, a lifetime friend of 45 years told of Madla's spiritually and his love of family. His wife of 29 years was released from the hospital and attended the funeral.
